Το “Ivapah Solar Electric Generating System”, παράγει ηλεκτρισμό για 140.000 σπίτια στην Καλιφόρνια, κάτι που θα οδηγήσει στη μείωση των εκπομπών διοξειδίου του άνθρακα, που αντιστοιχεί στην απόσυρση 72.000 οχημάτων.
