Μια νέα σειρά γραμματοσήμων πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσουν τα βρετανικά ταχυδρομεία, για να τιμήσουν τους Pink Floyd. Η σειρά των δέκα γραμματοσήμων σηματοδοτεί τα 50 χρόνια από τότε που το συγκρότημα έγινε γνωστό και περιλαμβάνει, μεταξύ άλλων, τα εξώφυλλα των άλμπουμ «The Piper at the Gates of Dawn», «The Dark Side of the Moon» και «Wish You Were Here».
«Λίγες μπάντες στην ιστορία της ροκ έχουν καταφέρει να χαράξουν μία καριέρα τόσο πλούσια, όπως είναι αυτή των Pink Floyd», ανακοίνωσε η εταιρεία Royal Mail. Η πώληση των γραμματοσήμων μέσω των ταχυδρομείων θα ξεκινήσει στις 7 Ιουλίου, ενώ έχει ήδη αρχίσει η προπώλησή τους.
